ProbeSync Technology - Sharing a Common Clock
ProbeSync is a technology that Frontline developed to allow their ComProbe family of protocol analyzers to work seemlessly together and share a common clock. This allows
the analyzers to precisely synchronize communication streams and to display the resulting packets in a single shared or coexistence view. With ProbeSync you can see
exactly what's going on, knowing that all connected devices are sharing a common clock.
Complex Bluetooth Piconets
You can connect multiple ComProbe BPA 500 analyzers together - as many as you would like. By daisy chaining them together you can see complex Bluetooth piconets all together in
one view - analyzing the data, viewing decodes, identifying issues.
Bluetooth Coexistence with Wi-Fi (802.11)
You can connect a ComProbe BPA 500 analyzer with a ComProbe 802.11 analyzer together via ProbeSync. This lets you see Bluetooth coexistence with 802.11 packets.
To use ProbeSync you must:
- Use analyzers that are ProbeSync enabled (ComProbe BPA 500, ComProbe 802.11)
- Connect the two or more devices together via the ProbeSync (in/out) ports on the devices.
